about me
Caro Dahlhaus (Heerlen, 2003) is a photographer based in Limburg, Netherlands.
Although born in the Netherlands, she lived her childhood in southern France. This period has shaped her perspective on the world: the melancholy of the southern landscapes remains a lasting source of inspiration for her work.
Her fascination with preserving memories and the feeling of nostalgia ignited her love for photography. It started with capturing small moments on her first phone but quickly grew into a deeper passion. For her, photography is not just a way to preserve memories but also a means of telling stories that go beyond the image itself.
Her photographs serve as a journey through her own thoughts and experiences and makes the images feel as if they are floating between past and present.
